Swan Suburbs Rugby Union Football Club was established in 2012 with a strong commitment to community, inclusion, and the growth of grassroots rugby.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to participate in local sport and experience the many benefits of being part of a team — including confidence, friendships, discipline, and a sense of belonging — regardless of their background or personal circumstances.

At SSRUFC, we are proud to offer our “Kids Play for FREE” initiative, removing financial barriers and ensuring all children can access rugby in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. This initiative reflects our belief that sport should be about participation, development, and enjoyment, not affordability.

Our club is built on the dedication of volunteers, coaches, families, and players who work together to create a positive culture both on and off the field. We focus on skill development, respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while fostering a strong connection within the local community.
